Course Overview
This course covers the key concepts of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB). Students will learn about the benefits and characteristics of each technology, including how SASE consolidates networking and security into a cloud-delivered service, how SD-WAN provides a software-defined approach to network communication, and how CASB enables secure access to cloud services while protecting sensitive corporate data. The course will also discuss the pillars of CASB, including visibility, data security, threat protection, and compliance. By the end of the course, students will be able to describe how SASE is leveraged for security and networking benefits, discuss the key benefits of SD-WAN, and articulate the security capabilities of CASB.
