RoBee is a cognitive humanoid robot developed by Oversonic Robotics, designed to assist humans by performing strenuous, repetitive, and potentially hazardous tasks, thereby promoting both physical and psychological well-being. Equipped with advanced artificial intelligence and a sophisticated camera system, RoBee can recognize and distinguish individuals, adapting its behavior based on the person it interacts with. Its autonomous navigation capabilities, supported by omnidirectional wheels and safety sensors, allow it to move independently within shared physical spaces, avoiding obstacles and collaborating safely with humans and other robots, making RoBee an ideal fit for setting in hospitals, care homes and manufacturing centers where situational awareness and responsiveness is key.
