Edgify AI
Last Updated: October 21, 2026
Edgify AI transforms existing Intel® processor-based self-checkout kiosks, POS terminals, and scales into real-time computer vision systems. Product Recognition identifies fresh produce in milliseconds, while Loss Prevention detects non-scans, barcode switching, and mislabeling during checkout. Optimized with OpenVINO™ toolkit, the solution runs AI inference locally on devices based on Intel® Core™ processors and Intel Atom® processors, eliminating the need for cloud processing, GPU servers, or hardware replacement. Retailers gain fast deployment, lower infrastructure costs, improved checkout accuracy, and reduced shrink while keeping image data in-store. Deployed on more than 9,000 devices across 12 countries, Edgify AI helps retailers modernize checkout operations using infrastructure already in place.
