Voltox Biometric Age Verification helps retailers automate age-restricted sales across self-checkout, kiosks, POS systems, and vending machines. Using AI-powered facial age estimation, the solution delivers an age-based Allow/Deny decision in seconds, reducing checkout friction, minimizing staff intervention, and helping retailers maintain compliance while improving customer experience. Optimized for edge deployment on Intel® platforms and accelerated with OpenVINO™ Toolkit, the solution performs inference locally on the device for low-latency performance, offline operation, and privacy-focused processing. Built-in liveness detection helps prevent spoofing attempts while enabling secure deployment across unattended retail environments. The result is faster transactions that enable retailers to expand self-service operations with confidence.
