By qualifying your hardware through the Intel® Edge System Qualification (ESQ) for Intel® AI Edge System, you ensure your solution is fully interoperable with Intel’s Edge AI Libraries and sized for optimal performance—whether Entry, Mainstream, Efficiency Optimized, or Scalable Performance.

System Requirements

Streamline Your Edge AI System Qualification with 3 Tiers, Endless Possibilities

To qualify as an Intel® AI Edge System under the ESQ program, platforms must meet rigorous benchmarks for performance, reliability, and scalability. These benchmarks are organized into three performance tiers — Mainstream & Entry, Efficiency Optimized, and Scalable Performance — helping solution builders select systems that align with their application needs and deployment scale.

Vision AI and Generative AI in warehouses, retail, and datacenters

Prepare the System by Installing

Setup packages on Ubuntu:

2a. Download a copy of Intel® ESQ for AI Edge Systems v11.2.3 from Edge Software Catalogue

2b. Remember to copy the product key that will be needed to complete the installation.

Unzip the ESQ Package and begin installation as shown below.

chmod +x edgesoftware
python3 -m venv venv
./edgesoftware install

System will reboot automatically once installation has completed.

Before running qualification step, be sure to obtain hugging face token – for hugging face steps, go here

export Hugging Face token for Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct and run your system’s qualification as shown below.

Once the qualification suite completes successfully, it generates a html report indicating the system score and scores of Vision AI and Gen AI performance benchmarks.

If the System Score is 90% and above, the system is considered qualified and eligible for submission. Click here to Submit your Qualified System’s Test Report

We offer support for Intel partners whose system scored below 90%, via Intel Premier Support.

Just raise support ticket and select the following product and categories for correct case dispositioning.
