Introducing the Network Transformation Video Podcast Series

By Ben Mccahill, Market Development Manager, Network Platforms Group, Intel

To increase speed and nimbleness in the marketplace, enterprises have been adopting cloud services and agile business practices at an ever increasing pace. Communications Service Providers are responding to this shift with a radical overhaul of their services menu; both the type of service bundles being offered, and the way in which they can be consumed. À la carte service bundles are on the way, all wrapped up for instant, cloud-friendly consumption.

This shift has been likened to overhauling an aircraft already in flight – and we are dedicating an entire video podcast series to this network transformation. The series, hosted by Intel’s Jim St. Leger, looks at the challenges and opportunities presented by this cloud service need, and the network transformation which it requires.

The first episode covers the case for business transformation and describes how advances in virtualization and hyper-scale cloud technologies are shifting the landscape. The episode features Steve Saunders, founder of Light Reading, who gives his perspective on the changes underway and how the transformation will allow providers to:

  • Understand the timing around business transformation
  • Face the challenge and opportunities surrounding cloud-driven business models
  • Recognize how transformation delivers competitive advantage and improved time to market

Tune in below to find out how your business can take advantage of the network transformation now underway.
