As part of HCL Technologies Ltd.‘s membership in the Intel® AI Builders program, HCL attended the O’Reilly AI Conference in London. The conference brought together like-minded people from leading technology organizations and business leaders from a wide range of industries.
We were excited to participate in the event and present our Diagnostic Decision Support for Medical Imaging (DDSM) solution. Analyzing chest x-rays is one of the most complex radiology tasks due to high inter-reader variability and is one of the most important ways to diagnose chest abnormalities. DDSM helps in the detection of various abnormalities in chest x-rays and tests its inference on various Intel hardware. During the conference, the solution garnered interest from industries including healthcare, life insurance, medical devices companies, and consultants working with National Health Service (NHS). Visitors to the booth were interested in understanding the availability time frame of the solution, which can help in reducing the load of doctors and radiologists. The forum helped us in collaborating with participants and Intel’s team which led to great takeaways in the AI’s sphere.
Through our partnership with Intel, we were able to showcase our solutions in AI built on Intel AI technology that can be applied across industry segments. Details about HCL’s optimized market-ready solutions can be found in the Intel® AI Builders Solutions Catalog.
