Aaeon UP Squared AI Edge Retail Suite by AIM2
The Retail Suite can be launched in two different modes: Mode 1 or Contextual Mode and Mode 2 or Brand Mode. It enables retailers to run real-time video analysis on the edge as a way to extract data related to shopper demographics as well as engagement, identities, behavior, and brands. In Mode 1, retailers gain contextual information. The solution associates key performance indicators (KPI) to a specific context related to the position of the camera. A context can be the brand on a shelf, the name of a venue in a shopping center, or a specific zone of a venue such as the entrance or exit. In Mode 2, retailers can automate inventory tracking at shelf level. This includes stock detection, shelf monitoring to make certain that brands are positioned correctly and in the correct amount, and brand exposure. Brand exposure tracks customers standing in front of a brand on a shelf or in a case, as well as how they engage with the products.
