“Microsoft is excited to see that X0Pa has built an AI for recruitment that ensures the best candidate is selected for the job, and it removes unconscious bias from the process. Their proven technology takes a wide range of factors into its model which means that employees are also matched well to the job ensuring happier, better performing employees and longer retention. Having a diverse workforce has been proven to improve company financials and X0pa helps companies to achieve this” says Dr. Ian McDonald, CTO in Residence, Microsoft
Introducing X0PA ROOM
X0PA ROOM is an AI enabled video interview on demand platform that enables hiring managers to seamlessly invite and pre-screen candidates. It provides post interview emotional and sentiment analysis to assess the fit of a candidate for the role alongside various other parameters such as qualification, CV relevance, attitude, performance and more.
X0PA ROOM is built using various software components including Python and associated toolsets. ROOM is flexible and can be deployed both on premise and cloud. It uses customized VGG CNN frameworks and transfer learning to train customized computer vision models for analyzing the video. With more users on the platform, X0PA plans to expand the analytical capabilities of ROOM to help interviewers identify more useful insights.
Optimizing X0PA ROOM for Intel AI
Historically, we have relied on conventional Tensorflow for model training, which is computationally more expensive. As a member of the Intel AI Builders program, we collaborated with Intel engineers to tune ROOM with their toolsets using Intel optimized Tensorflow and MKL DNN libraries on 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable servers. Through the collaboration we were able to find optimal parameters and use Intel AI technologies to optimize our algorithms for Intel architecture. Doing so has improved our training performance notably compared to non-optimized methods, resulting in faster model training for our customers with no compromise on accuracy, and quicker time to deployment.
The optimization efforts on Intel processors has shown us the potential to leverage Intel AI technologies across the solution portfolios of both companies. We look forward to enhancing our collaboration with Intel to bring increased value to our customers. Learn more about XOPA AI here
